Born and raised in Setúbal, Joana Poças has a lifelong bond with the Arrábida coastline and the Sado Estuary. Summers spent exploring Tróia’s wild beaches and swimming in its crystal-clear waters shaped her deep connection to the sea and the local heritage. That love for nature — and a passion for preserving it — eventually led Joana and her husband, also an ocean enthusiast, to create Green Breeze: a family-rooted maritime tourism company offering sustainable, slow luxury experiences along Portugal’s most pristine coast.

With four children who share their parents’ love for boats and marine life, Green Breeze is as much a personal journey as it is a professional venture.
