The Dedicated Team at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge is fortunate to have a dedicated and experienced team that has been instrumental in its success. Led by Ishwar Basnet as Senior Manager for Regenerative Tourism, Administration, and Accounts, the team includes Jhalak Chaudhary (Senior Manager for Guest Relations and Operations), Dol Raj Shrestha (Senior Manager for Dining and Rooms), and Lalu Mahato (Chef).
Many of the staff members have been with the lodge since its inception in 1998, having played crucial roles in its construction and subsequent operations. This long-standing commitment has fostered a strong sense of ownership and dedication among the team.
Beyond their individual responsibilities, the staff members have also demonstrated a willingness to take on new challenges and grow professionally. Ishwar, for example, has successfully transitioned into the role of Sustainability Manager, while Jhalak has expanded his responsibilities to include marketing and guest relations. Chef Lalu's culinary skills have been recognized far and wide, and Dol Raj's attention to detail ensures that the lodge maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
The owners, Marcus Cotton and Lisa Choegyal, are actively involved in supporting and guiding the team. Their regular visits provide valuable insights and ensure that the lodge continues to thrive.
